Quick answers

How-to

Where is my data?
On your device, and nowhere else. Forge keeps your programs, sessions and history in on-device storage on your phone. There is no account and no server — nothing is uploaded.
How do I back up my data?
Export your programs as JSON to keep portable copies you own. Your full history lives in Forge’s on-device storage, which is included in your phone’s normal device backup — iCloud on iOS, Google on Android. Forge has no cloud of its own.
How do I import a program?
Open the Import screen, then either open a JSON program file or paste the program text. Re-imports dedupe by ID, so importing the same program twice won’t clutter your library.
How do I move to a new phone?
Export your programs as JSON and re-import them on the new phone. For your logged history, restore from your device backup or use your platform’s device-to-device transfer — because Forge stores everything locally, there is no cloud sync to switch on.
How do I delete my data?
Clear the app’s data in your device settings, or uninstall Forge to remove its on-device data. Anything Forge has written to Apple Health is managed separately by you in the Apple Health app.
